As you navigate these tranquil waters, you'll discover the rich lore and timeless legends that define Maine's breathtaking wilderness. Each bend in the river unfolds a new story, allowing the whispers of nature to transport you through history.
Join Whitney Pray for an exciting journey into the world of Mandalas Weaving on Saturday, July 12th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. In this hands-on workshop, Whitney will lead you step-by-step in crafting your very own mandala. Whether you're a complete beginner or eager to advance your skills, you’ll learn how to create beautiful designs that reflect your personal style. As you progress, you can explore more intricate patterns—all while enjoying a relaxed and inspiring atmosphere! Perfect for those aged 7 and up, it’s an ideal opportunity to create memorable gifts or simply indulge in a fun and meditative experience. All materials are included.
The Poetry Group will meet on Thursday July 17th from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm in the Periodical Room. The Writer/Poetry Group, where fellow lovers of poetry are encouraged to come write and read their own poetry or recite poems from their favorite authors.

New Museum Passes

Exciting News!

Thanks to the Friends of the Conway Public Library, we now have new seasonal museum passes available for the Mount Washington Observatory, Mount Washington Cog Railway, and Mount Washington Auto Road. These passes are only available during June, and each has specific guidelines. We also have added White Mountain Museum & Gallery.

Join the New England Irish Harp Orchestra for an unforgettable musical experience! Immerse yourself in the enchanting sounds of traditional Irish music performed by a vibrant community that spans ages 20 to 80, all from New Hampshire and Massachusetts. For twenty years, our Orchestra has been captivating audiences across New England and Ireland, and we invite you to be part of this rich heritage.

The Friends of the Library hosted the New England Irish Harp Orchestra  in June 2024, and Valley Vision-TV3  captured the event for those who missed it.

The Library was recently awarded a $340,000 reimbursement grant from the Northern Borders Regional Commission (NBRC).
