Join author and end-of-life advocate Chris Palmer for an enlightening Zoom webinar that focuses on how to achieve a good death while empowering you with knowledge and hope.
There is a profound art to dying well, and it’s something we can learn together. Although death is a universal experience, we can approach the end of life with dignity and peace, alleviating the fears and anxieties that often accompany these discussions. Chris will guide participants through important concepts and practices that contribute to a gentle and serene passing.
In this session, we will explore a variety of essential topics, including:
- The connection between living well and dying well
- The concept of death cleaning
- The importance of advance directives
- Insights into dementia riders
- Crafting ethical wills
- Understanding hospice care
- The role of end-of-life doulas
- Exploring end-of-life options
- Choices for body disposition
- Thoughtful funeral planning
This webinar is part of Memorial Public Library's ongoing series, "You've Been Dying to Know About...," which aims to create open and meaningful conversations around the nuanced topics of death and dying. We look forward to sharing this valuable information with you.
