All Together Now: Watershed Explorations w/ NH Fish & Game

Aquatic Critters in NH Rivers

Starting at 4:00pm, children and their families are invited to join us in the library park for a presentation from NH Fish & Game Watershed Education Specialist Kayla Croteau.

Learn about the aquatic critters that inhabit the rivers, lakes, and other bodies of water in our state!

Discover how those animals live, what makes a healthy home for them, and the impact we have on their habitats.

All ages are welcome! No registration required.

Interested in conducting your own science experiment this summer?

Volunteer Biological Assessment Program on the Saco River

Starting at 1:00pm, join us at the Conway Public Library for a short walk over to Davis Park to conduct our annual Volunteer Biological Assessment Program of the Saco River watershed.

Participants will act as citizen scientists, collecting macroinvertebrate samples and water quality data using field meters and other equipment.

After collecting data to analyze the health of the river ecosystem, go electrofishing with a NH Fish & Game watershed specialist to collect specimen for observation in our simulated river ecosystem at the library this summer!

All ages are welcome! Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a parent/caregiver.
