The Conway Public Library will be closing early today, December 10th, at 3:00pm.
The Board of Trustees meeting scheduled for this evening will take place next Wednesday, December 17th at 5:00pm.
The library will reopen at 9am on Thursday, December 11th.

Traditional songs, rich in local history and a sense of place, present, and the latest news from the distant past. They help us interpret present-day life with an understanding of the working people who built our country. Tavern songs, banjo tunes, 18th century New England hymns, sailor songs, and humorous stories about traditional singers and their songs highlight this informative program by Jeff Warner. This illustration rich presentation is a discovery tour of tokens used for the abolition of slavery and the advancement of liberty from approximately 1792 through the Civil War.
Michael Callis brings his expertise and passion to the subject of how tokens, used as currency, tell the story of intentional political protest.
Come hear his presentation and view the actual tokens. This presentation is appropriate for older elementary school aged children through age 100!
