Take your children to this annual event to help foster their love of libraries. This year is all about dinosaurs! begin with a story time with special guest, Rory the Dino (from Story Land), and continue on with a book giveaway (thank you Believe in Books Literacy Foundation), face painting with Carol Hanson, a dinosaur dig, a scavenger hunt and more!

In celebration of National Poetry Month, all are invited to attend or participate in the annual poetry and story slam here at the library. All writing and story telling abilities are welcome to take part, and mature audiences (teens and older) are encouraged to attend. Learn more about story telling at www.themoth.org. This information packed program will start with a brief introduction into agriculture and how USDA has played a significant role in what we eat. We will open up the topic of health care, outcomes, and what we can do every day, three or more times, to help our health and the environment.
After a brief discussion with a few talking points, we will watch the 2017 documentary called, "What The Health" and examine what influences our health care which is overlapped with what is happening with climate change.
tutoring session
Artist, Kristine Foster Carbone will lead middle school students through the creative process of recycling discarded plastic into beautiful art, using a variety of supplies provided. Participants will come away with a unique product to display and take home. FREE! For more information call 447-5552.
Kristine has a degree from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, and ample experience working with middle and elementary school-age students.
