Children of all ages and their caregivers are invited to snuggle into the Ham Room of the library to enjoy soothing stories and songs with Tessa, the first Monday of each month Through May 2024. All are welcome, FREE!

Maker Madness
Kids over age 5 and teens are invited to drop in and create! There will be a variety of STEAM activities to choose from in the Ham Room. After January the meet ups will be take place on the last Wednesday of each month. LEGOs and other building materials will always be available, in addition to arts and crafts activities, simple food preparations, and more! Kids under age 10 must be accompanied by an adult.

Knit Democracy Together
How does voting work? And how do you know your voice counts? Knit Democracy Together will demystify the electoral process as it engages citizen crafters in knitting circles. At each gathering, artist and former election lawyer Eve Jacobs-Carnahan will give a nonpartisan presentation and lead a discussion about the electoral system. Attendees will learn more about voting and gain confidence in recognizing and responding to misinformation, untangling what happened in our recent national elections and preparing for the 2024 presidential election.
